On a spur of the moment yesterday I made Iz an appointment to have her pictures done. I haven't taken her in since last Christmas and she's changed so much in the past 6 months so we drove to the "big city" yesterday afternoon. We stopped at my old work to visit a few "ex" co-workers (BIG shout out to K for the egg cartons - THANKS! and it was SO nice to see CB!). Hubby was there too so we got to chat with him for a few minutes. Then it was picture time!

Iz is like a ball of clay when she's photographed. She stays in the position she's "molded" into and then smiles right on clue. Our appointment was at 3pm and by 3:15 she had her picture taken 15 times (including a change of outfit!). Then came the fun part...deciding what to order. UGH! Out of 15 pictures I LOVED 8 of them. There weer only 3 of them that I wasn't too keen on. That left 12 pictures to choose from. A WHOLE DOZEN! Yipe! In order to be able to show my face at home that night I curbed my spending to about 40 bucks and still ended up with a few different poses and enough pics for family and friends - but, let's be honest, I could have probably spent well over $100 and still wanted more! She's just so darn CUTE! They'll be ready to pick up on the 3rd and I can't wait for them to be hanging all over the house :)
