Drive In

Iz and I went to the drive in last night!!! So fun to have a girl's night with my FAVORITE girl :)

We saw this...

...and stayed for the first 15 minutes of this :)

Brave was so good and Madagascar 3 made us laugh right away but we couldn't stay for the whole thing - it was midnight when we got home and that is WAY WAY past my bedtime!!!

We saw previews for a couple up and coming movies that we definite want to see - we're hoping they come to the drive in to and that Hubby can come with us next time!!!

Summer Fun List 2012

It took us a couple weeks to figure out EXACTLY what we wanted on our list but it's done!

We've also added another element to the fun list. 

I'm a firm believer that schoolwork shouldn't stop in the summer time so I've set Iz up with a schoolwork goal to meet. 

We counted out a bunch of pompoms and found a jar to store them in. 

She adds one pompom to the jar for every 15 minutes of school work she does. 

When she fills the jar that's when we'll go to Build-a-Bear.
She loves the idea and has already started on her workbooks and reading!
YAY!

Strawberry Picking!

We haven't made an "official" summer fun list but when we do we'll be able to check one thing off right away!

We met up with WW and Valentine Girl today to pick some berries . . . YUM!

I made strawberry shortcake but Iz ate hers before I could snap a pic - maybe I'll be able to grab one when Hubby gets home and he and I have some of our own!

I have a whole heaping mess more all washed, hulled and ready to go. 

I'm off to allrecipes to find something yummy to make!!!
