Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change.

On a large scale, there are a ton of things I would change. 

There would be no hate. No prejudice. No war.

On a small, local, close to my heart scale...I would change this:

Ugh! Ours is not what I wish it was. There are approximately 350 kids in Iz's school and we're lucky to have 6 or 7 people at our monthly meetings. Also, we're stuck in such a rut - nothing new, mainly because no one is willing to get involved. The 6 or 7 people that are at every meeting do EVERYTHING. So frustrating.

I missed the election for next years officers because of my CNA class. This past years president left a lot to be desired. The person who will be president next year would not have been my first choice either. We'll see what next year brings.

I know it's a little thing but Iz is only a grade schooler ONCE and I want it to be the best experience it can be...

I'm a big fan of series of books. The Women's Murder Club, Kay Scarpetta, Narnia, Sookie Stackhouse....the list goes on and on. I can't pick a favorite single book or even a favorite series. 

Currently I'm reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire and listening to Witch and Wizard by James Patterson and they're both good, in different ways. I also like a good historical romance every once in a while, especially Ashes in the Wind by Kathleen Woodiwiss as well as anything by Nicholas Sparks or Jodi Piccoult.

I'll read pretty much anything I can get my hands on but what I haven't read yet (but secretly want to) . . .

don't tell anyone, ok?

I want to read the dirty book.

You know the one I'm talking about, right. Shhh...let's keep that between you and me. Unless you have a copy you're willing to loan out. In that case - call me!

Day 22 - A picture of something you wish you were better at.

Housework.

Some people just have a knack for keeping things clean and organized despite crazy schedules, kids, pets, etc.

I am NOT one of those people.

And I didn't even watch it!!! 

Hubby watched parts of it once day while Iz and I weren't home and then was *nice* enough to tell me all about it. 

It LITERALLY made me ill. Do not watch this movie. Don't even look it up to see what it's all about....

Trust me. 

You DON'T want to know.

Kids, animals, spouses, partners, the elderly . . . I don't understand it and I hate that it even exists in or world :(

There's no way I could pick just one. These two have known me my entire life - seen me laugh and cry, seen me at my best and my worst. I heart my seesters!!!

Day 07 - A picture of you and someone you'd be lost without .

This is what she said about me a couple months ago:

"IzzyBsMama - she is my therapist, my shoulder to cry on, my personal comedian, and the person who will tell me how it is if I want to hear it or not."

Day 06 - A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day.

This was a hard one for me. I love my life through all it's ups and downs and I wouldn't change a thing. Also, this one's a bit silly so I started thinking about what I would want if I traded places with someone for a day....a nicer car, warmer weather, less responsibility, more wild and crazy fun, people at my beck and call, access to fancy restaurants, wild clubs and exclusive parties, red carpet events, etc, etc, etc - I mean, it would just be for a day, right? And then it hit me....THIS is who I would trade places with :)
